Disaster Recovery Assistance

You don't have to navigate disaster recovery alone. This page covers your FEMA disaster number and two organizations that provide free case management to help you find and use the right programs.

FEMA Disaster Declaration: DR-4879-TX. Declared July 6, 2025. Travis County is designated for both Individual Assistance and Public Assistance. Keep this number — you will need it for FEMA claims, appeals, and any conversation with a case manager or legal aid provider.

Travis County Recovery Alliance (TCRA)

A community-led long-term recovery organization formed after the July 5, 2025 floods. TCRA brings together nonprofits, grassroots groups, faith communities, businesses, and government partners to help Travis County survivors address unmet needs and rebuild.

TCRA can help you connect with recovery resources, identify unmet needs, navigate rebuilding, and access its network of community partners. If you are a Travis County resident affected by the flood, you can request assistance through TCRA's Survivor Intake Form.

Endeavors

Austin office — about 40 min from Round Mountain School

Endeavors provides free, personalized disaster case management for survivors of the July 4–5, 2025 Texas Hill Country floods, through the Texas Disaster Case Management Program. A case manager becomes your dedicated point of contact — they can help assess your needs, build a recovery plan, identify resources, navigate assistance programs, and advocate for you. Case management can continue even after other disaster assistance programs have ended.
