Round Mountain School Food Pantry
A local food pantry serving neighbors in the Sandy Creek and surrounding communities. Provides food and essential groceries when you need a little extra help — whether that's a temporary hardship, rising grocery costs, or making ends meet. You don't have to wait for a disaster to ask.

Round Mountain Baptist Church Food Pantry
For Sandy Creek neighbors, this is one of two of the most local options available. Community food pantry distribution on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.

Hill Country Community Ministries
Provides food assistance to eligible residents in northwest Travis County and southwest Williamson County. Their food pantry includes nonperishable groceries, fresh produce, bread, pastries, and personal-care items. They also offer a community cupboard and other basic-needs services. First-time clients can visit without an appointment during pantry hours.

Brighter Days Food Pantry
A curbside/drive-through food pantry operated by Leander Church of Christ. Provides supplemental groceries and, when available, fresh food, personal-care items, diapers, and other essentials. Because this is a drive-through distribution, you will need to arrive in a vehicle. Distribution can end early if the pantry reaches capacity.

Operation Liberty Hill
Operates a food pantry in partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank and local donors. Depending on availability, food assistance can include fresh produce, meat, and nonperishable groceries. Pantry clients can receive food once a week; their Food Share Friday distribution is open to the public while supplies last. Also provides financial assistance, clothing, shoes, and household items through other programs.

Travis County Community Center — Jonestown
Can help connect residents with food resources, including food pantry assistance and food vouchers for eligible residents. Services are generally by appointment — call before visiting.

Travis County Health & Human Services
Provides assistance with food, utilities, clothing, home repairs, weatherization, and social services for eligible Travis County residents. The County operates food pantries through its Community Centers, with food assistance available to eligible residents every 30 days. Visit a Travis County Community Center to apply and connect with a social worker or case manager.

Need something other than food?
Food insecurity is often just one part of the problem. If you need diapers, hygiene products, clothing, household goods, utility assistance, transportation, or other basic necessities, tell the organization you're working with what you actually need — many can connect you with more resources even when they can't provide everything themselves. If you're dealing with multiple needs at once, don't try to coordinate all of this by yourself.

Travis County Health & Human Services can help eligible residents with broader needs including food, utilities, home repair, and social services. 2-1-1 Texas can help connect anyone — not just disaster survivors — with local resources.

Mutual aid works both ways. If you have extra food, diapers, hygiene products, household supplies, clothing, or time to volunteer, these organizations are also looking for community support. You don't have to wait for a disaster to help someone through a difficult month. Strong communities take care of each other all year long.
